My advice to You when starting to create a suburb: build as many houses in different shapes, sizes and colors. Grabcraft offers You soooo many opportunities for that! Here's a wonderful little green house for You to try out. It includes a small bedroom and living room area and outside You can find a nice carport where to hide Yourself or one of Your vehicles from rain. Oh, and if it's too damn hot inside the house, You can jump into the cooling pool that is right at the backyard. Perfect!
