Nice hook there on the roof, haha. I wonder if it has a more practical reason then just being a decoration? Only the author knows. But anyway, we're talking about a rather rustic house with a fantastic and fairy-tale'ish touch. It's also pretty modest so don't expect to see anything mouth dropping this time.
