Watchtowers are the best really. I mean what is better than climing all the way up, being able to see as far as possible, feeling the wind on Your skin and at the same time working and protecting Your village from unwanted people. The Medieval watchtower here is pretty small actually, so it is perfect for smaller villages, or if You are already living on a mountain maybe?
